About Laura

Known for her work ethic and perseverance, Laura was born and raised in Madrid, where she began studying dance, acting, and singing at the age of 14.

Her training took her from Spain to Buenos Aires and the United States, graduating with honors from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA). From Los Angeles to Madrid, Laura has worked in musicals, shows, music videos, and dance companies, combining her artistic career with teaching and choreography.
She currently runs Lauras’ Dance company and school alongside Laura Pérez, training students of all ages and establishing herself as a leading figure in the dance sector.

Professional career

2004

Beginnings in Madrid

Laura began her artistic journey in Madrid, where she started studying dance, acting, and singing at the age of 14. During this period, she trained with renowned professionals such as Fernando Lázaro, Iker Carrera, and Amaya Galeote, as well as participating in flash mobs, television, and her first original musical.

Artistic evolution and new horizons

Seeking to further her training, Laura moved to Buenos Aires after meeting director and choreographer Gustavo Zajak. There she worked on productions such as the musical El Capitán Espárrago and a television pilot, as well as training in tango with the renowned dancer Dana Jazmín Frigoli, a world-renowned figure in the genre.

2013

International education and graduation with honors

Laura won a scholarship to study at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA), attending classes in New York and Los Angeles. She graduated with honors in 2015 and during her stay worked in tango shows, music videos, and dance companies such as MKM Bollystars, as well as beginning her work as a teacher and choreographer.

Return to Madrid and professional expansion

In March 2016, Laura returned to Madrid to continue her career close to her loved ones. She joined the Parteners dance company as a principal dancer and choreography assistant, participated in the Madrid Salsa Festival, and joined SLS Dance, where she soon became one of the principal choreographers and teachers.

2021-2022

Leadership and birth of Lauras' Dance

After years of commitment to the company, in 2021 Laura took over the management of SLS Dance alongside her colleague Laura Pérez. In 2022, they both acquired ownership and revamped the brand, giving rise to Lauras’ Dance, establishing themselves as leaders in bridal dance and in training students of all ages.

Lauras’ Dance

Lauras’ Dance leads the bridal dance sector in Madrid; “Las Lauras” fulfill the dreams of almost 200 couples a year by creating their dream dance for their wedding day. In addition, together with her partner Laura Pérez, Laura runs Lauras’ Dance Studio, a space dedicated to comprehensive dance training where passion, technique, and personal growth come together. The school offers classes for all ages and levels, from the youngest children taking their first steps to adults who want to perfect their style or start a new discipline.

Located in the north of Madrid, Lauras’ Dance Studio has become a benchmark for those seeking friendly, professional teaching tailored to each student.
